The Jepara Regency Government supports the implementation of the 2025 Indonesia International Furniture Expo (IFEX) in Jakarta, starting Thursday (6/3/2025) to Sunday (9/3/2025). One of them is by facilitating 10 Jepara furniture entrepreneurs to participate in the exhibition.

Jepara Regent Witiarso Utomo said that IFEX 2025 is an opportunity for participants to attract potential buyers and expand their business networks. This step is in line with the government's program to encourage small businesses to move up a class.

"That is in accordance with our program to make micro, small and medium businesses move up a class," he explained.

He hopes that participation in various international exhibitions can increase the number of buyers coming to Jepara and strengthen the regional furniture industry.

"So, the more we participate in such events, the more buyers will hopefully come," he said.

It was conveyed that in addition to the 10 people who were facilitated to participate in IFEX 2025, as many as 57 furniture entrepreneurs also participated in the exhibition independently. Some of them previously received government support and are now able to stand on their own.

The Regent emphasized that his party will be committed to supporting the productive sector, especially those that focus on human resource development and marketing. He hopes that next year more business actors will be facilitated, so that the growth of the MSME and SME sectors in Jepara will be even more rapid.

"As long as this activity is productive, the government is ready to support it," he said.
