The Carving area besides Jepara, there are several other areas in the Muria area such as Blora Regency which also has the potential for abundant forest product resources. This is what makes Blora motivated to follow the footsteps of the furniture industry in Jepara which produces many experts in the field of carving and furniture.
UNISNU which is the largest campus in Jepara has a role to participate in developing the potential of human resources. A collaboration was established between UNISNU and the Blora Regency Government, on Thursday (14/07/2022). Not only at the university level, the collaboration between UNISNU and the Blora Regency Government is also carried out by LPPM UNISNU with the BAPPEDA Kab. Blora.
The collaboration was marked by the signing of a cooperation document carried out in the rectorate meeting room by the Chancellor of UNISNU Jepara, Dr. H. Sa'dullah Assa'idi, Regent of Blora H. Arief Rohman, head of LPPM Unisnu Dr. Sisno Riyoko, and also the Head of BAPPEDA A. Mahbub Djunaidi.
In his remarks, the Chancellor of UNISNU, Dr. H. Sa'dullah Assa'idi welcomed the collaboration between UNISNU Jepara and the Blora Regency Government, "Hopefully this gathering and cooperation between UNISNU and the Blora Regency Government will have a good impact and result". said the Chancellor of Unisnu.
Furthermore, the Chancellor also said that UNISNU and Blora are like family, because there are many UNISNU lecturers who come from Blora. "UNISNU has ties and ties with Blora, with this collaboration, hopefully Unisnu can expand in the dissemination of knowledge, hopefully it will be useful for both parties, because there are many Jepara carvings whose wood is from Blora," he added.
In line with the Chancellor, the Regent of Blora H. Arief Rohman, also felt happy and proud to be accepted for this collaboration.
"I am happy to be sowan in order to sign the cooperation script between Blora and UNISNU. Hopefully with this collaboration, the potentials that exist in Blora can be collaborated with UNISNU Jepara, be it in the form of design, carving training and others, "said the Regent of Blora.
Not only about regional resources, the collaboration between Unisnu and the Blora Regency Government is also carried out by LPPM Unisnu and BAPPEDA Blora. "Hopefully, the cooperation in the form of placing the Unisnu Jepara KKN participants in Blora can also provide maximum results for the Blora Regency Government and Unisnu Jepara." concluded
The collaboration between Unisnu and the Blora Regency Government includes improving the quality of human resources through education and training, providing teaching materials, providing educational facilities and developing science and technology, as well as developing potential regional resources.
In addition to signing the cooperation document between Unisnu and the Blora Regency Government, LPPM Unisnu Jepara also signed a cooperation document with BAPPEDA Blora Regency. The scope of this collaboration includes the implementation of Real Work Lecture activities, facilitation and coordination related to the implementation of KKN activities, reporting the results of KKN activities, as well as monitoring and evaluating KKN activities.
