Bekraf Presents ICINC EXPO at TEI 2019
The Creative Economy Agency (Bekraf) presents ICINC EXPO (RT) for the first time at the 34th Trade Expo Indonesia. which was opened by Vice President Jusuf Kalla on Wednesday (10/16/2019) and lasted until Sunday (10/20) in Hall 3 ICE BSD, Tangerang, Banten.
ICINC (Indonesia Creative Incorporated) is a Bekraf program that aims to promote and incorporate Indonesia's creative economy products and services into the global market ecosystem. Bekraf presented more than 80 actors and curated creative economy products.

Head of Bekraf, Triawan Munaf, said that the presence of ICINC EXPO (RT) aims to bring together the best Indonesian creative economy actors and products with domestic and foreign buyers and investors.
"In attendance for the fourth time at TEI, this is the first time Bekraf presents ICINC EXPO (RT), where buyers can meet innovative curated companies and startups, game developers, and publishers. "Of course all these creative actors are ready to enter the global market ecosystem," Triawan said at a press conference at ICE BSD, Wednesday (10/16).
Bekraf considers that Indonesia has many economic actors and products that are very ready to enter the global market ecosystem. The potential for selling Indonesian products was very large in this exhibition because it was attended by many potential buyers (domestic) and abroad.
Quoted from CNBC Indonesia, until October 16, 2019 there were 6,025 buyers from 120 countries in TEI 2019. Apart from domestic, the majority of buyers came from Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Nigeria, China, India, Thailand, United States, Philippines, and Sri Lanka.

"The number of buyers who come to this event is very large. We must take advantage of that," Triawan said.
At the expo, Bekraf set up a 1,200 square meter pavilion to showcase the best creative economy products and services displayed in five islands, namely the Fashion District, Craft House, Design Hub, Culinary Zone with Coffee Bar, and TechLyfe.
Even Bekraf also provides a business lounge as a place for creative economy product players and sellers to meet and negotiate.
On the same day, Bekraf launched the ICINC – For You directory book. The directory is a guide for creative economy players who are ready to market their products and services to the international market.

"On this occasion, Bekraf launched three ICINC-For You books for the culinary, craft and fashion sub-sectors. Later, the 13 other creative economy sub-sectors will also have their respective directors' books, "explained Joshua Simanjuntak, Bekraf Marketing Deputy.
This book, according to Joshua, will not only be distributed domestically, but also abroad, and can be downloaded on the Bekraf page.
